About Us

We were founded in 2012 by Dr. Hal Movius, an applied psychologist whose work and writing focuses on negotiation, confidence, emotional intelligence, personality, and leadership.

Our team brings together experienced consultants and thought leaders from psychology, neuroscience, business, law, public policy, planning, leadership, organizational development, and the performing arts.

Decades of experience, and expertise in specific areas of research, enable us to create uniquely responsive programs and services for our clients. We pride ourselves on developing new and more effective solutions to challenging problems.

Our approach – used with some of the world’s most successful organizations across two dozen countries – is captured in books such as Built to Win: Creating A World Class Negotiating Organization (Harvard Business Press); Dealmaking (2011, Norton), and Resolve (2017, LifeTree Media).
