David Ferguson

 

David Ferguson (JD, DBA) draws on three decades of international negotiation experience to help clients reach better, more durable agreements. Based in New Zealand, he has worked in and consulted to a range of industries and geographies, with a strong focus on Asia.  He is fluent in English and Japanese.

David was previously New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner to Japan and Korea and has held executive positions for multinationals including HJ Heinz (now Kraft Heinz) in NZ and Japan, and Anglo American in Australia and Singapore.

Qualifications include a Juris Doctor (admitted in Australia) and doctorate of business administration from the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo. He has also completed the Negotiation Master Class at Harvard Law School.

In addition to training and advisory services, David is an accredited mediator. and serves as board chair for a 1,600-acre park trust.
