Dr. Joshua N. Weiss is founder of Negotiation Works, Inc. and co-founder of the Global Negotiation Initiative at Harvard University.  A negotiation and conflict resolution expert, he consults to diverse organizations, and provides training in negotiation, mediation, and conflict management for individuals, companies, organizations, universities, and governments.

Dr. Weiss is the creator of a number of innovative products that use technology to bring negotiation theory and practice to a broad audience, including the Negotiation Tip of the Week (NTOW) podcast and the Negotiator In You (NIY) Audiobook and eBook series. The NTOW was in the top 100 iTunes Business Podcasts from 2007 to 2010 and was downloaded over two million times during that period. The NIY series –focusing on negotiation at work, at home, in life — was a top iTunes audiobook and has frequently been among top 100 Self-Development books since its publication.  A new addition to the series, with a specific focus on sales, was published in 2013.

Dr. Weiss has consulted to Microsoft, 5th 3rd Bank, Novellus, Christies Art Auction House, Pharmanet, Prospectiv, Boehringer-Ingelheim, CDM Smith, Shire, Green Diamond Resource Company, The Otter Group, Mitch Glanz and Associates, EASCORP, Genzyme, Mainstream Media Project, and the United Nations (multiple departments).

He received a Ph.D. from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University in 2002.
